What is NBS?
The UK-based system is used for specification in construction. NBS has its origins in the National Building Specification and is a trading name owned by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
What is NBS Plus?
NBS Plus is one of the tools within the NBS Specification software. It is a library of material, standard and workmanship details provided by building product manufacturers which are linked to specific clauses in the NBS Create. Not only does the NBS Plus panel guarantee quicker and more precise product specification, but it also provides for up-to-date information. Finally, the specifications made in the NBS system are BIM-ready.
