Design for open ceilings

The Ultra Allround has a round design and is available either fully or partially clad. For a striking appearance, the unit is fully clad. If you prefer a subtle industrial look, choose the Ultra Allround with partial cladding, which integrates into modern black ceiling systems. The steel housing is powder-coated in both variants, allowing individual colour finishes to suit your requirements.

High penetration depth

In heating mode, the Ultra Allround makes particularly efficient use of the warm air that naturally accumulates beneath the ceiling. Through its vertical air outlet, the unit directs the warm air precisely up to seven metres into the room, ensuring effective heat distribution where it is needed most. In cooling mode, the air discharge automatically switches to a horizontal pattern. Via lateral air outlets, the cooled air is distributed evenly in all directions with a throw distance of up to 5 metres, providing a comfortable indoor climate all year round.

 

Model sizes

The Ultra Allround is available in two model sizes with different performance classes.

Heating/cooling function

It is installed on the ceiling. For heating , the air can be directed up to 7 m downwards; for cooling , up to 5 m sideways.

EPP as a value-adding material

Most of the interior consists of expanded polypropylene (EPP) - a foamed plastic that consists of 96% air. This not only makes the EPP unit recyclable and lighter for transport and installation, but above all more efficient in the targeted guidance of airflow within the unit.

Motorised adjustment of the air outlet

  • Air discharge direction is set via the control technology
  • Vertical in heating case, horizontal in cooling mode
  • Effortless switching over between heating and cooling mode

Heating and cooling in low-temperature and heat pump operation

  • For large rooms with extensive floor areas, the Ultra Allround is ideal for heating with low temperature.
  • By additionally using a heat pump, you create a future-proof system with optimal energy efficiency and a simple solution for both: the removal of heating or cooling loads.
  • This meets the growing demand for building cooling in exclusive large rooms.

Energy-efficient EC fan

  • The infinitely variable EC motor of the fan used in the Ultra Allround Unit Heaters operates with particularly high energy efficiency and extremely quietly.
  • This means the radial fan delivers exactly the output required, without a single watt too much and without a single decibel more than necessary.
  • The fan complies with the ErP requirements.

Integrated full motor protection

  • The Ultra Allround Unit Heaters comes as standard with a motor protection guard as well as integrated motor monitoring, which switches off the motor in the event of overload, depending on the control, either individual units or an entire group.
  • The motor fault can be evaluated externally.

With primary air supply

  • The supply of primary air in conjunction with a central ventilation system is possible via an optional supply air spigot that can be connected to a round pipe.

Control options

KaControl MC

With the integrated KaControl MC control, the Ultra Allround offers bidirectional communication of up to 10 units within a group/room via CAN bus. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP. 

Electromechanical control

This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
