Decentralised school ventilation unit

The WZA is a cabinet-style ventilation unit specially designed for classrooms. It provides supply and extract air functions with integrated heat and humidity recovery. Outdoor air is supplied via a facade connection.

Easy installation

The installation of the unit is extremely simple, as it is delivered ex works ready to plug in and fully wired. There is no need at all for a complex condensate connection, saving time and costs during installation. Only the power supply needs to be connected via a standard IEC connector.

Advanced connectivity

The unit offers a wide range of networking options. Via LAN or WLAN, it is possible to adjust the factory parameters in a service dashboard. Fault alarms can also be read out and acknowledged. Communication via Modbus or BACnet is available on request, enabling seamless integration into modern building management systems.

Connection options

The unit offers four different variants for the outdoor air connection to the facade:

  • Right side
  • Left side
  • Top right
  • Top left

This flexibility enables optimal adaptation to the respective spatial conditions and facilitates integration into existing building structures.

User-friendly operation

With its intuitive operation , the unit impresses in line with the motto "Keep it simple". Four different operating modes can be selected effortlessly via an illuminated single-button control . The integrated control continuously records the CO2 content of the room air and automatically adjusts the ventilation output.

Maintenance-friendly design

Maintenance and repair work on the unit is particularly easy thanks to generously sized access doors. All components are easily accessible. An integrated differential pressure sensor continuously monitors the condition of the filter.

Modular design

The modular design of the unit makes transport and installation considerably easier. It is delivered in three separate packaging units, which is particularly advantageous in revitalisation projects. This means the unit can also be transported without problems to the desired application place of use in buildings with narrow access routes or stairwells.

  • The integrated enthalpy exchanger ensures optimal heat and humidity recovery.
  • Maximises the energy efficiency of the unit and helps to protect the users' mucous membranes.
  • This technology ensures frost-safe operation, even at low outdoor temperatures down to -10° C .
  • Avoids the formation of condensate and thus makes installation and operation easier.

Quiet operation

  • The WZA is a decentralised supply and extract air unit for acoustically sensitive rooms, such as classrooms and seminar rooms or kindergartens, conference rooms and meeting rooms.
  • In nominal airflow operation the WZA impresses with low-noise operation and high air volume.
  • Air is supplied with 100% outdoor air and integrated heat recovery.

Optional reheating function

  • If required, the unit can be equipped with an electric reheater with an output of 1.0 kW in the supply air .
  • Even at very low outdoor temperatures, it ensures a comfortable supply air temperature and increases comfort for users.

Hybrid concept

Central ventilation - decentralised temperature control: The combination of central ventilation via an air handling unit and decentralised air conditioning with pumped hot water and chilled water enables efficient heating and cooling.
