Decentralised Ventilation Units

Decentralised ventilation units, as compact single units without an air distribution system, provide the ventilation and air extraction for individual rooms. They are particularly suitable for renovations due to the minimal intervention required in the building fabric. They also expand the design possibilities for individual room utilisation – including in new builds.

Our decentralised ventilation units enable versatile operation: from primary and secondary air, to mixed air and heat recovery, right through to comfortable temperature control in a 2- or 4-pipe system – completely independent of ventilation requirements.

  • Decentralised ventilation including heat and moisture recovery
  • Diverse product range from compact units close to the facade, through parapet and facade units, to underfloor variants
  • Healthy indoor climate with precisely matched air exchange
  • Unit spectrum ranging from pure supply and extract air to full air conditioning units

Highlights

School ventilation with one-button operation

Mechanical ventilation in schools serves to contain waves of illness. To avoid disturbing concentrated work, quiet operation and an adequate supply of fresh air are essential. Our WZA operates in nominal air mode with a sound pressure level of only 35 dB(A) while delivering 800 m³/h – naturally with 100% outside air and heat and moisture recovery.

Enthalpy heat exchanger

The enthalpy exchanger in the WZA not only contributes to heat recovery but also protects natural virus defence through moisture recovery. The residual risk of infection is halved. Our decentralised ventilation units ensure moisture recovery rates of 65%. The enthalpy exchanger prevents the formation of condensation, thus simplifying installation and operation.

Mixed air vs. displacement air

In offices, displacement ventilation is ideal, whereas it is not suitable for schools. In classrooms, due to the high number of people, mixed air ventilation is the right choice. Large volumes of air are introduced along the ceiling, then descend into the entire room at low air velocity, flushing it without draughts.

Decentralised ventilation in offices

In new office buildings, ventilation systems are now standard. Compared to central ventilation systems, decentralised units offer the advantage of room-individual temperature control and ventilation. Parapet or facade units and underfloor variants are particularly suitable. In existing buildings, retrofitting decentralised units is the best choice due to the very minimal intervention required in the fabric

Our service offerings

We support you in every phase of your project. Our extensive network of employees in sales and service ensures our exceptional service level. At one of our locations, on-site, or digitally.

Installation

Kampmann products are delivered to the construction site sorted by type and ready for palletising. Everything is packaged and labelled as well as possible. Depending on your needs, with item numbers on the units so that they can be assigned to the respective floors and installation location.

BIM data

Use the BIM datasets for Kampmann's air handling units for a smooth process during the planning phase. These include unit dimensions, technical measurements of water and electrical connections, and performance data.

Measurement

To avoid inaccuracies, measurements are taken by our technicians using 2D or 3D lasers. This ensures a precise and efficient dimensioning process. The handover to our project department is then automatic.

Maintenance and inspection

Maintenance and inspection are key to the longevity and safety of technical systems. Regular checks prevent costly failures and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Control technology

The interconnectivity of building services components in buildings is state-of-the-art. Standardised automation networks ensure cross-trade system interaction.

Repair

Our experienced experts are there for you quickly and competently, ensuring that every repair is carried out precisely and efficiently. With expertise and care, they extend the service life of the units and save costs in the long run.
