Trench technology with tangential fan convection
The Katherm QK provides heating with tangential fans in low temperature operation.

Lowest noise levels
The coordinated interaction of the smooth-running EC tangential fan and high-performance copper-aluminium convector ensures optimum indoor air quality. This means high heat output with low noise levels at the same time.
For rooms with increased heat load
The Katherm QK is specially designed for rooms with floor-to-ceiling glazed areas and correspondingly higher room heating loads. The integrated EC tangential fans enable efficient heat output even in low temperature operation and ensure rapid warm-up at a low noise level.

The range of variants and outputs is extensive. Two trench widths are available.
Custom-made solutions
For every building architecture with individual geometries, custom-made solutions are possible. This applies to the trench and the grille.

Wide range of variants
To suit the installation situation, the respective trench is complemented by the matching grille and matching frame edge. Thanks to easily removable end pieces, continuous trench runs, adapted to the façade, can be realised.
Short installation time
Thanks to the valve connection, a fast and easy installation of the Katherm QK on site is possible. In addition, height adjustment screws and step-resistant height adjustment feet are supplied as standard to further reduce installation time and therefore costs.
Protection during installation and construction
Our Katherm trench technology products are carefully packed in cardboard packaging for transport. The grille edge trim profiles are protected against damage by green plastic profiles. A sustainable paper cover prevents dust and dirt from entering.
As the units are often installed in the building at an early construction stage, the grille can be replaced at the factory with a wooden installation cover for their protection for an additional charge. The grilles are then supplied separately packed.

Control options
KaControl MC
With the integrated KaControl MC control, the Katherm QK offers bidirectional communication of up to 10 units within a group/room via CAN bus. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP.
Electromechanical control
This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.

Life cycle assessment data (EPDs)
We assess the environmental impact of our products across their entire life cycle („cradle to cradle“) and publish the results transparently in our Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). These EPDs can be easily integrated into leading building certification systems such as DGNB, BREEAM or LEED and are available in the download section.
Hybrid concept
Central ventilation – decentralized temperature control: The combination of central ventilation via an AHU unit and decentralized air conditioning with pumped hot water and chilled water enables efficient heating and cooling.
