Door air curtains for large hall doors
The ProtecTor door air curtains system works with a pre-air curtain and a warm-air curtain and prevents incoming cold air at large hall doors.

The ProtecTor door air curtains system protects the hall from incoming cold air and energy losses and increases comfort in the door area.
Pre-air curtain and warm-air curtain
The door air curtains system incorporates what is known as tandem technology, which generates a pre-air curtain and a warm-air curtain. The pre-air curtain is not heated; it protects against energetically disadvantageous turbulence in the warm-air curtain. The separation of the two door air curtains reduces the heating demand and leads to faster payback compared with conventional units. Inside the hall, it remains pleasantly draught-free and warm.
Model sizes
The ProtecTor is available in various unit sizes between two and five metres in length.
Mounting options
The unit can be mounted horizontally above the door or vertically beside the door , suitable for narrow, spacious or extra-wide doors.
For large door widths, several ProtecTor door air curtains with the appropriate unit size can be positioned side by side to achieve effective cold air screening at the door.
The ProtecTor achieves an air discharge height of 3.5 – 6.0 m.
Discharge nozzles
Depending on the on-site installation situation, the right discharge nozzle is selected. For this purpose, the horizontal door distance (distance to the door) is measured and, depending on the result, a nozzle is selected in which the air is discharged laterally or centrally.
Low temperature operation
The heat exchanger of the door air curtains system is suitable for low-temperature operation. This also optimises the efficiency of the warm-air curtain, which reaches the floor more effectively due to lower temperature differences.
Control options
Electromechanical control
This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
