Air curtains provide controlled shielding for air-conditioned rooms when doors and gates are open. This minimises energy loss to the outside and creates a comfortable indoor climate inside.

Ceiling-suspended and recessed ceiling units

Our UniLine and Tandem door air curtains can be installed visibly beneath the ceiling or discreetly recessed. In the Kassetten-UniLine or Tandem recessed ceiling unit version, the air outlet and intake are located on the underside.

More space at gates and doors

Gate air curtains contribute to increased comfort in the gate or loading area. This means that workstations can be planned closer to the gate area as early as the hall layout stage. The same applies in a shop's checkout area.

Patented preliminary and warm-air curtain

Tandem and ProtecTor create two air curtains: an unheated preliminary curtain on the door side and a warm-air curtain on the room side. With its greater penetration depth, the preliminary curtain pulls the warm-air curtain down with it. Air turbulence with the cold outdoor air occurs primarily with the preliminary curtain.

Basic level when the door is closed

For applications with short closing intervals, continuous operation at a base load level even when the doors are closed makes sense - for reasons of comfort and efficiency, because this is the only way to build up a sufficient air curtain as soon as the doors open. We provide the intelligent control system for this.

When doors are open

Open doors lower the inhibition threshold for entering a shop. And the air shielding increases comfort in the entrance area. In addition, air curtains can be used in a wide variety of ways in arcades and public buildings.

Installation

Use the BIM datasets for Kampmann air curtains for a smooth process during the planning phase. They include unit dimensions, technical dimensions of the water and electrical connections, as well as performance data.

To avoid inaccuracies, site measurement is carried out by our technicians using 2D or 3D lasers. This ensures a precise and efficient measurement process. The handover to our project department then takes place automatically.
