The Tandem door air curtain in ceiling installation works with a pre-air curtain and warm-air curtain and ensures a comfortable indoor climate.

The Tandem ceiling-mounted device increases comfort in the entrance area. Thanks to the pre-air curtain, it improves effective cold air screening and reduces energy losses.
Pre-air curtain and warm-air curtain
The door air curtain is equipped with so-called tandem technology, which generates a pre-air curtain and a warm-air curtain. The pre-air curtain is not heated; it protects against energetically disadvantageous turbulence in the warm-air curtain. The separation of the two door air curtains reduces heating demand and leads to faster payback compared to conventional units, as well as more climate-friendly operation.
Model sizes
The unit is available in a width of 800 mm and a height of 300 mm and is offered in four different lengths.
Mounting options
An air discharge height of 2.7 - 3.2 m is achieved.

Maintenance made easy
Maintenance is extremely simple: the large-area filter, including frame and intake grille, can be removed with minimal effort .
The large revision flap is also practical. The entire underside of the unit can be opened in just a few steps.
Technical highlights
Air outlet
- Adjustable air outlet rectifiers ensure a straight, low-turbulence air outlet.
- They can be swivelled up to 20°.
Low temperature operation
- For additional energy savings, operation of the door air curtain in conjunction with a heat pump at low temperature is recommended.
- The warm-air curtain also benefits from this, as it reaches the floor more efficiently due to lower temperature differences.
Control options
KaControl MC
With the integrated KaControl MC control, the Tandem ceiling-mounted device offers bidirectional communication of up to 10 units within a group/room via CAN bus. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP.
Electromechanical control
This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
