Katherm QK nano stands out for its top performance in a compact format. It provides heating with tangential fans in low temperature operation.
Katherm QK nano fits here with a trench height of just 70 mm. Ideal for ultra-low temperature systems, for example in residential buildings.
Katherm QK nano is acoustically optimised and perfectly suited to acoustically sensitive rooms. The sound power level is measured in accordance with EN ISO 3744 in a semi-anechoic sound measuring chamber.
The trench height of Katherm QK nano is only 70 mm. Different trench unit lengths are available depending on the control version. This makes (almost) unrestricted use of the room possible. As a rule, it is installed directly on the façade with a small clearance.
Katherm QK nano is characterised by its compact dimensions, ideal for rooms with increased heating demand but only limited space available. The compact EC crossflow fans allow for a trench height of just 70 mm. This enables easy installation in a raised floor or screed. Despite the low installation height, Katherm QK nano can cover high heat loads in the room.
Katherm QK nano is suitable for use with a heat pump or another low-temperature system. Thanks to fan assistance, especially at low system temperatures with warm water, you quickly achieve the 3-4 times higher output compared to conventional radiators. This reduces your energy demand and heating costs and, ultimately, greenhouse gas emissions.

The FineLine grille was developed specifically for Katherm QK nano. A rigid grille made of flow-optimised profiles as a orthogonal grille (FineLine Q) or linear grille (FineLine L).
Available in powder-coated steel in the colours RAL 9006 (white aluminium), RAL 9007 (grey aluminium), RAL 9005 (black), DB 703 (basalt grey) or in stainless steel.
Thanks to the valve connection, quick and easy installation of Katherm QK nano on site is possible. Height adjustment screws and height adjustment feet strong enough to be stepped on are supplied as standard. This reduces installation time and therefore costs.
Our Katherm trench technology products are carefully packed in cardboard packaging for transport. The grille edge trim profiles are protected against damage by green plastic profiles. A sustainable paper cover prevents dust and dirt from entering.

As the units are often installed in the building at an early construction stage, the grille can be replaced at the factory with a wooden installation cover for their protection for an additional charge. The grilles are then supplied separately packed.
With the integrated KaControl MC control, Katherm QK nano offers bidirectional communication of up to 10 units within a group/room via CAN bus. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP.
This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.

The grilles are available in various colours.

With our free calculation program, you can find the product with the right performance data for your project in just a few steps. The official technical data sheet with your individual project values as a PDF for download is then available to you.
We assess the environmental impact of our products across their entire life cycle („cradle to cradle“) and publish the results transparently in our Environmental Product Declarations (EPD). These EPDs can be easily integrated into leading building certification systems such as DGNB, BREEAM or LEED and are available in the download section.
