Heat pump radiators

Heat pump radiators are suitable for powerful, efficient heating and cooling at low system temperatures. The energy-saving operation of a heat pump is optimised.

Kampmann heat pump radiators are suitable for use in new buildings to optimally benefit from the cooling function of the heat pump. However, they are ideal for existing buildings, as the switch from an oil or gas heating system to a heat pump is possible without any problems.

  • Cooling and heating in combination with heat pump/chiller
  • No refrigerant circulating in the building and only small quantities in the chiller
  • Fast response times thanks to powerful and efficient EC fans
  • For any requirement, for installation in and under ceilings, wall-mounted or free-standing
  •  In hybrid systems for introducing primary air and tempering recirculated air
  • For air conditioning as a supplement to surface temperature control

Highlights

Heat pump efficiency

A low-temperature system only becomes efficient when combined with economical room units. Heat pump radiators are designed for a standard flow temperature of the heat pump of approximately 35 °C - unlike conventional radiators. A 35 °C low-temperature system with a heat pump radiator operates 25-35% more economically than a high-temperature system at 55 °C - and is significantly more responsive than underfloor heating.

Simple retrofitting

Fan-assisted radiators are ideally suited for use in existing buildings, as switching from an oil or gas heating system to a heat pump is possible without any problems. Compared to underfloor heating, low-temperature radiators offer two decisive advantages: They are quick and easy to install and connect to the existing pipes - without having to mill open floors and lay new floor coverings.

Effective cooling

In addition to the energy-efficient heating function, heat pump radiators offer an integrated cooling function when used with a heat pump. Depending on the insulation of the existing pipe network, a dry or humid cooling function can be realised.

Quiet operation

Heat pump radiators heat and cool with fan assistance. By using EPP, expanded polypropylene, optimal airflow is achieved, enabling maximum air volumes at low sound power levels. This allows heat pump radiators to be installed in offices and residential areas - even in bedrooms.

The heat pump system

For efficient operation of any heating system, the temperatures of the heating water are crucial. How warm this water needs to be precisely depends on the chosen combination of heat generator and heat consumer. The basic principle is always the same: a heat generator supplies room units with warm water, and the heat consumers use the warm water to temper the rooms.

If an oil or gas boiler is replaced by a heat pump as the heat generator, low system temperatures are recommended to keep operating costs low at high output. Fan-assisted convectors are then recommended as heat consumers, as they achieve 3-4 times the output in low-temperature operation compared to conventional radiators.

Our service offerings

We support you in every phase of your project. Our extensive network of employees in sales and service ensures our exceptional service level. At one of our locations, on-site, or digitally.

Installation

Kampmann products are delivered to the construction site sorted by type and ready for palletising. Everything is packaged and labelled as well as possible. Depending on your needs, with item numbers on the units so that they can be assigned to the respective floors and installation location.

BIM data

Use the BIM datasets for the PowerKon LT from Kampmann for a smooth process during the planning phase. These include unit dimensions, technical measurements of water and electrical connections, and performance data.

Measurement

To avoid inaccuracies, measurements are taken by our technicians using 2D or 3D lasers. This ensures a precise and efficient dimensioning process. The handover to our project department is then automatic.

Maintenance and inspection

Maintenance and inspection are key to the longevity and safety of technical systems. Regular checks prevent costly failures and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Control technology

The interconnectivity of building services components in buildings is state-of-the-art. Standardised automation networks ensure cross-trade system interaction.

Repair

Our experienced experts are there for you quickly and competently, ensuring that every repair is carried out precisely and efficiently. With expertise and care, they extend the service life of the units and save costs in the long run.
