Suitable for your hall

The TOP Unit Heaters achieve particularly high outputs and throw distances. With the wide variety of variants and numerous accessories, we can find the right configuration for every application. Installation can be carried out on the wall or ceiling.

Central ventilation and decentralised temperature control

The TOP Unit Heaters are particularly energy-efficient as a component in a hybrid system. While TOP provides decentralised temperature control, a centrally installed, compact AHU provides ventilation with outdoor air and heat recovery. This saves operating costs, because all components only operate when demand is detected.

Model sizes

For wall or ceiling installation, five model sizes with different performance ranges are available. 

Installation options

The TOP Unit Heaters can be used in halls up to 25 m high with ceiling-mounted installation. Wall-mounted installation is also possible.

Heating in low-temperature and heat pump operation

You can operate the TOP Unit Heaters at low temperature; this saves energy costs and reduces CO emissions. The Unit Heaters can be used with all water-based heating systems, such as local or district heating, for example. 

Technical highlights

Energy-efficient EC fan

  • Infinitely variable EC motor of the fan
  • Particularly energy-efficient and extremely quiet
  • The fan delivers exactly the output the hall requires, not one watt more and not one decibel more than necessary.
  • Complies with ErP requirements

Cooling with the TOP Unit Heaters

  • With a reversible heat pump, TOP can also be used for cooling.
  • Ideal for new builds and existing buildings (provided existing piping systems are used)
  • No additional infrastructure required
  • Pleasant dry cooling without condensate formation
  • Heating and cooling with one unit – can be used all year round
  • For humid cooling: TOP C

Full motor protection

  • Motor protection guard as standard, screwed to the sickle-blade low-noise rotor fan
  • “Intelligent” motor electronics detect any motor fault that may occur and switch off the fan automatically.
  • A motor fault on the unit to which the KaController is connected is displayed on the KaController.

Repair switch

  • Optional add-on
  • Enables shutdown of individual units in a control group by disconnecting the voltage supply
  • Thermal contacts are bridged in advance and opened on the motor side with delay, so that the other units in the group can continue operating without interruption.

High-quality sheet steel housing

Equipped with a robust and corrosion-resistant housing made of galvanised sheet steel, the TOP Unit Heaters are the solution if you want to heat large spaces such as halls, warehouses, workplaces in industry and commerce or, for example, sales areas economically.

Air direction

The TOP Unit Heaters are equipped as standard with a single-row air-direction louvre. A double-row version or other air outlet accessories are optionally available to optimise air distribution.

Unit Heaters effectively prevent heat stratification in industrial halls. The KaMAX air outlet available as an accessory (Kampmann-Multi-Air-miX) ensures in halls up to 25 metres high that thermal lift and the formation of unwanted heat cushions under the ceiling are prevented. 

This ensures uniform air mixing, reduces heat build-up and minimises energy losses.

The selected air outlet accessory is mounted directly at the factory and delivered together with the Unit Heaters.

Control options

KaControl MC

With the integrated KaControl MC control, TOP offers bidirectional communication of up to 10 units within a group/room via CAN bus. With KaControl MC, the unit can be easily integrated into common building management systems such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP and KNX-TP

Electromechanical control

This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to a terminal and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.
