        • Suspension points in the housing make mounting easier.

        Model size

The units are available in several model sizes to allow the output to be tailored to requirements.

The model size is selected depending on the required thermal output, the air volume flow and the sound requirements of the room.

Larger model sizes offer higher performance, but are associated with larger housing dimensions, which must be taken into account when planning the installation situation.

        Heat exchanger model

There are basically two types of heat exchanger available, which are selected depending on the application area:

        Copper/aluminum heat exchanger

This variant offers high thermal efficiency and is particularly suitable for applications under normal environmental conditions. Typical application areas are workshops, logistics areas or production halls with low levels of air pollution.

        Galvanized steel heat exchanger

This version is preferred when the room air is heavily contaminated and the heat exchanger needs to be cleaned regularly. The robust design allows mechanical cleaning.

Compared to the copper/aluminum version, the thermal output is reduced, but it offers greater resistance to external influences.

        steel galvanised

        Heat exchanger performance

Depending on the application area and application, variants with different heat exchanger areas and numbers of pipe rows are available. Units with a reduced heat exchanger surface area enable particularly high air volume flows and a deep air supply into large rooms. For demanding heating tasks, especially in the (operated) at low temperature range, we recommend versions with an increased heat exchanger capacity and several rows of pipes. These achieve a high heat output even at low flow temperatures and are ideal for modern, energy-efficient heating systems.

        medium
        high

        Control option

We offer various solutions for the control and regulation of our units, which can be used depending on the application and requirements:

        Electromechanical control

This variant is ideal for simple applications. All integrated actuators are factory-wired to terminals and can be connected to our electromechanical accessories such as thermostats or external controllers.

        KaControl MC1

Our comprehensive comfort control offers extended control options for individual rooms or appliance groups. It can be operated either via a touch display or a web interface. Thanks to on-site 0-10 V control or common communication protocols such as Modbus RTU & TCP, BACnet and KNX, this solution is ideal for all BMS applications.

        Installation

        • The unit heater can be mounted on the ceiling or wall.
        • Ceiling-mounted is preferable to wall-mounted.
        • Warm air pockets under the ceiling are reduced and an even flow is ensured.
        • If the structural conditions do not allow the unit heater to be mounted on the ceiling, wall-mounted installation is possible.
        • To be mounted from 2.5 m height lower edge.
        • The throw is highly dependent on the hall layout and the room geometry.

        Device layout

        • The unit heaters should be arranged symmetrically in the room to ensure an even flow through the room.
        • Structural conditions such as lintels, ceiling cranes or other installations must be taken into account.

        air intake

        • For comfortable conditions in the living area, the tempered air must be introduced precisely.
        • All discharge characteristics can be achieved via a wide variety of air outlets.

        versatile installation options

        • Any type of mounting can be achieved using the available accessory brackets.
        • Whether wall brackets or ceiling brackets - maximum flexibility can be achieved for any structural situation.

        Hall Heating Tool

        • Use our hall heating tool for a quick and easy design of your hall.
        • Location-specific weather data sets enable the calculation of the TOP air heaters and heat pumps.
