        basic unit

        Kampmann Katherm QK trench heater, convector-based ready-to-install heating trenches for installation in the floor with tangential fan convection. Heat outputs tested in accordance with DIN EN 16430, parts 1 and 2.
        Trench chassis made of sendzimir galvanised sheet steel, coated in graphite gray. Height-adjustable mounting brackets on the sides with impact sound insulation; sturdy height adjustment mechanism with impact sound insulation. Includes cross braces to reinforce the trench chassis. With pre-punched connection openings for water supply and return as well as electrical connections, on the room side. With a frame edging profile color-matched to the grate. With standard protective cover and frame edge. With a cover plate over the connection area.
        Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data is published in the form of an EPD according to EN 15804 and is available to download from the International EPD System. Registered in the building products platform DGNB Navigator. GWP (phase A1-A3), kg CO2 Äq.3,88E+01. Further calculations possible online.

        High-performance heat exchanger made of circular copper pipes with aluminum fins and a Eurokonus valve connection, coated in graphite gray. With integral bleed option.

        Fan

        Tangential fan with safety guard. Energy-saving EC fan with 0-10 V signal for continuously variable speed control. All rotating parts are silent and mounted on maintenance-free bearings. Motor monitoring with internal fault processing. Factory-wired.

        Control

        KaControl SmartBoard control version
        Factory-fitted and wired electrical connection unit, including 230 V/24 V power supply unit.
        Operation via separate room control unit acting as a master unit or used as a slave unit in group mode, alternatively single unit control via an analogue 0-10 V signal, alternatively single unit control via communication cards.
        KaControl control PCB regulation and control functions:
        • room control of up to six units via a KaControl t-LAN interface
        • room control of up to 30 units and CANbus card additionally required
        • Temperature measurement optionally via sensor in the room control unit or external room temperature sensor
        • Slot for optional communication cards for integration into KNX TP or Modbus RTU automation networks

        • Comfort/Economy switch-over with invertible switching logic e.g. to detect window contact, presence alert or card reader message

        The KaControl control option provides the option of omitting the valve control data point when externally controlled by an on-site 0-10 V signal.
